- Hunyuan3D: open weights under the tencent-hunyuan-community licence, which has territory and use limits.
FAQ
Which AI game-asset tools can I use commercially on the free tier with no attribution?
Based on vendor pages checked 2026-10-15: Scenario, PixelLab, AutoSprite, Gamelabs Studio, Retro Diffusion, SpriteCook, Pixel Engine, Rokoko Vision (AI mocap), Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Summer Engine, Makko AI. Check each tool's caveats, such as public galleries or training on your uploads.
Which free tiers require attribution?
Meshy: Meshy's free-plan output is licensed CC BY 4.0, so you must credit Meshy. Its paid plans give you a private licence with no credit needed.
What does 'no attribution clause in the terms we reviewed' mean?
We read the vendor pages listed as sources for that tool (terms and/or pricing FAQ) and found no requirement to credit the vendor; most assign or confirm your ownership of outputs. Only Gamelabs Studio, Retro Diffusion and SpriteCook say outright that no attribution is needed.
Does no attribution mean I don't have to disclose AI use on Steam?
No. Attribution is about crediting the tool vendor. Steam's content survey separately asks you to disclose AI-generated content that ships in your game.
Can I switch to a paid plan later to ship free-tier assets?
Not always. Licences usually follow the plan you were on when you generated the asset; Suno, for example, says free-plan songs are not licensed retroactively. Keep a record of the plan and date.
